I just called my LHS Stargek (Singapore) and they said it has just arrived. Went down during lunch break and grab two sets . Wanted to order more spare parts for the Egress but they have no manual to refer to cos Egress was sold out.

make your own !

On mine i bought a Top Force wire from Siedels http://www.modellbau-seidel.de/index.php?firma=Tamiya&best=5395026

heated it on the gas cooker and bent it to the template in the manual !

I thought the special Avante 2001 wing stay will be included and was listing 2 NIP of these body mounts from the vintage 2001 which includes the wing stay. 1 sold and 1 i ended the listing for my favor ...loooooool

here is a reply from our dear Banzai Team:

Avante 2001 body production date has been unfortunately extended by Tamiya.

We have been told, there is extreme shortage for the body also for some reason so they have postponed the production date till they have more products.

We have yet to receive any confirmation for the body

----

So i guess , the factory in Philippines is in critical condition to produce bodies and this definitly will affect the Egress Get.

Does this mean also, the Egress kit will be delayed more!!!

One of my mates from WA has a philipino girlfriend, she lives in Cebu city, near the tamiya factory. He organised a big collection from his friends & family to send directly to her & her family, as her grandmothers house was completely destroyed, they were the first in their whole neighbourhood to receive assistance! They sent pics back of all the food etc they bought.

It's funny with cyclone/typhoons, the grandmothers house & some others on one side of the street were destroyed but houses on the other side were perfectly fine!

You guys have to remember that even if the tamiya factory is intact, many many workers would either be unable to get there due to either helping their family, helping friends, or even having passed away themselves..

I'm not too sure if the bodys get done there , as you can get the Egress bodys easy at the moment .

Because he is getting more & more of them . So they may have been made in the japan factory .

Plus , Stella may have preordered bodys or since they didn't get the egress's as promised , they have

got the 2001 bodys 1st ?. Will we ever know ? . This could be why some can only get one body only @

this time ?.
