Nicely done. I think you did better cut lines than other Beetle Hammers I've seen, it's crying out for a better driver head now. The alloy canter lever, it's there any improvement in performance or is it just stronger?

You see that area of cage in front of the spare wheel ? How about adding a fake intercooler and a couple of fans just to fill it out ? IMO it would look great . A race interior ( rally car ??? ) would also hide the wires well .

Cheers Mr C ;) At the mo the new cant's are untested on a track/road but will be soon, They do come with bearings and feel very good BUT i'm not 100% sure on the open top because if you have a hard landing then either of the links could pop off!!!

Something would be nice where you say brom but then no access to battery if secured! and a cockpit kit might work IF it's higher than the shift servo!

Cheers.

the intercooler I have in mind could be secured with standard e clips mate . Easy to remove for battery access .

Couple of things put me off the idea. Having it removable is a pain especially as they don't require any clips removing to change batts, which means no searching for lost body clips in the woodland. Also with the larger batteries taking up the space in the back, any detail parts would have to go outside the cage which will more than likely get ripped off in a roll or just scraping past stuff. I prefer to keep mine robust and user friendly :)

There are a couple of extra holes on the og print but not a biggie.
