hi,does anyone know what other wheels will fit on a midnight pumpkin?i know the lunchbox will work but i also herd the monster beetle will also work.thanks

Hi Swamper! Welcome to the Tamiya Club forums!

The offerings from Tamiya are the wheels from the Blackfoot/Monster Beetle and Lunchbox. HPI makes a series of wheels called 'SS Monster' that come with adapters for the 5 point Tamiya mount. CRP and Pro-Line used to make wheels for those style trucks/buggies and can still be found both here in our traderooms and on eBay. Fortunately the HPI wheels are still made and available new.

Is the 5 point wheel adapter you are talking about the one for Frog-brat-and so on- wheels?

Yes, that is the same wheeladaptor. It is also featured on the Rough Rider and similar cars, FAV etc. etc...

I would advise aganist using the 2.2 wheels of the blacfoot and monster beetle. They look cool but becuase of their large size the wheelie bar will not contact the ground. as a result your truck will flip on it's back and you will end up damaging the body.

hi thanks guys for the help its much appreciated.not to get off the subject but does anyone know were to buy bodies?i know at tower hobbies they sell this whole truck and many other older tamiya parts.
