HI!... Well I'm starting BIGWIG build #3. Was cleaning the old RC shop the other day and came across a ton of parts I forgot I had. Some of them I don't even remember buying them or where they actually came from! LOL! Found a set of New BigWig Mooncraft wheels. I installed some older BigWig tires on them for now. The center chassis support need to be replaced. The current one was modified by a previous owner to fit a larger ESC. I need to get some more bearings for the axles. I've got them too but can't put anything together until I get bearings. Here's a few pics :

I've already painted the driver, cockpit and applied the decals. I'll take some nice pics once I build my RC car photoshop booth again. Garage roof sprung a leak and wrecked my current one.

AWESOME!!!

Two comments: watch out for the motor cables. They're pushing up the bodyshell. Also, the tires painted will make this awesome model look absolutely perfect!!

Gotta love the BIG WIG ;)

Great work, one of my favourite cars. Can't believe you had a set of Mooncraft wheels that you didn't realise you even had, do you know what they are worth?!!

HI!... Thanks. This is my 3RD Bigwig. This ones done, 2nd one needs the body painted and a MSC. The 1st one is a custom aluminum chassis one with ESC and BL motor. Starting the 4th Bigwig build pretty soon. Just gathering parts for it currently.

Nice work.

Love the Big Wig and drives like no other Shot based car. You really need to put one through the paces to appreciate them.

Here is mine in action at Boondall . This one is no show pony with a 13t EZ run for track work.

I agree. You really have to try one of these to know what they are like.

And by the way don't listen to the "Big Pig" tale. These 4x4s are not heavier than the rest of the Shot buggies. ;)

I like the silver/chrome uprights and mufflers Mad Racer, I always felt the blue front uprights made it look quite toyish (no offence intended guys). Are those chrome dipped or just painted?

Thanks Quandry,

All blue bits were chrome plated and cost a fortune. Yes the baby blue is the worst thing on the B/W I feel too.

HI!... Yours would look nice with a black dyed scoop and exhaust pipes to stay with the black theme you have going.

Or if your feeling ambitious you could always do a all aluminum BigWig. lol.

I'm now the proud owner of a Bigwig (many thanks Tamiyabigstuff top man). I used to drool over this model in Beaties model shop in Cardiff as a kid. I think it looks just awesome and yes it's going to be a runner.

Steve.
