My 2 Egress's arrived today with a MMMMMMMMMMMMMMASSIVE import bill...hold on, no, wait, it was only £35 ;) Winner, thanks Banzai.

Annoyingly, that outstanding order from a month ago is still in the air. I got a mail a week ago from them, apologising and promising to sort it out as a priority...I've heard nothing since grrrrrrrrrrrr. This is 100% down to issues with their staffing an order backlog, I know it. Sadly, as I want my £350 back now, I'm letting paypal sort it for me as after 20+ attempts to contact Banzai, its just sat there, doing nothing. Shame, as I really dont like opening cases on companies, especially ones that give top service normally. Odd.

Glad u got ur Egresses after long waiting.

I think, Banzai them selves are facing a massive issue with all these holidays and back orders..thats why they are messed up.

But sure with such known company, u will get ur right at end. Matter of time!..;-)

I placed a small order for some motors, fingers crossed they don't keep me waiting too long.

I'm so very tempted to order a car or two now at those prices, might wait for a bit and see how my first order goes.

Well, I'm sad to say that I had to let Paypal deal with my £350 messed up order. Banzai just never replied. Today I got my full refund from Paypal.

Such an odd situation as I've had order prior to this and since this one that have gone smoothly. When they have stock, they're the perfect company to order from, but when they dont, they are basically useless. I'm even beginning to wonder if I'd have ever got my refund at all if I'd left with them, it has been a month since my order now.

I'm refunded now, so that's all I'm fussed about.

Well, I'm sad to say that I had to let Paypal deal with my £350 messed up order. Banzai just never replied. Today I got my full refund from Paypal.

Well I have 6 items in their cart and I am hesitant to buy them as they never come back to me about my 4 days inquiry. Plus ur issue made me to hold up...

Hope they can sort what ever they r facing and get back to normal!!

Hmmm sounds like I might have to reconsider my order 😩. At least your covered by paypal if you want to take a punt assuming your not i a rush. Be interesting to see how people get on in feb after the rush has calmed down.

I received a message this morning to say my motors are on their way via their SAL option delivery service, I only placed the order on Wednesday so we'll see how long they take to get here.

Hmm this is very hit and miss as I ordered an RZ motor on Monday afternoon (so early morning Tuesday Japan time) then got an email on Wednesday morning (Wed PM Japan time) to say it had been shipped!!

Sorry if this post has left a few of you feeling bitter.

Well I ordered two motors and CVA shocks on Tuesday, on Wednesday I got an e-mail to say no CVA shocks in stock so I asked for a part refund and to proceed with the motors.

Since then nothing... I have sent an e-mail asking when the refund would happen but with no joy and I have not had anything to say my motors have been dispatched which is disappointing really.

Will give than another day or so but not impressed with communication so far.

This was my situation. I heard nothing, a month later paypal refunded me, still with no reply from Banzai. Not like them at all. Very odd.

I ordered my goods from them and received my tracking number a few days later, seems very strange that it's so hit and miss especially you have the likes of Stella models who have no probs with communication and cannot be faulted ... So far.

I think we should all mention that we are Tamiyaclub members on our order so that they can see how much potential trade they are getting. Wemight be able to arrange a discount or priority handling or somthing. I have had a few emails back and forth and they seem ameniable if not for the new year issues and baklog.

Wow really? I mean I've bought a lot of cars and a ridiculous amount of parts from them over the years, but to all the emails I've ever sent them, I've never, ever had even one reply. I did get one guy come back to me on their online chat/help thing once, but never a single reply to an email.

Their prices, superb. Their shipping time (if in stock), superb. Their customer service outside of a 'perfect order'...The single worst I've ever come across in my entire shopping lifetime. BUT, one blip out of a bazillion orders aint too bad and it hasnt put me off ordering again. Its just a lottery as to whether they have stock.

They are hit n miss with emails for sure - I often get duplictae orders showing, I email them straight away and they reply quickly.

I emailed last week about delivery time on my M-05 kit, ordered 10th Jan, and still no reply. I've placed 7 orders since then (parts) and all have been despatched within 2 days.

They are still working through the backlog of orders from new year, they obviously need more staff. My worry is they may well lose another week working for chinese new year ?

I'm happy to sit n wait for the kit, but if they come back in 2 months time and say they can't source it thats not a lot of use to me.

I blame this forum for the huge increase in orders they are seeing currently !

Agreed. The insane Egress price has done it I think, its made everyone aware of their site. I mean I've got 3 from them, each costing sub £265 door to door. That is, plain and simply, crazy money. In fact, is that cheaper than the original back in the day?

Yeah good point, and back then there was no way to import a kit like this to the UK (that I am aware of) so that price of roughly £260, would have been AT LEAST £300 over here due to our tax system. Crazy.

And they've got their 'biggest new year sale ever' coming too. Now that WILL be bonkers.

Where did you see this? On their Facebook page? If so, I think it might be a slip of the "Engrish". My guess is that they are going to - post their biggest new year sales numbers ever. If I'm wrong, we only have a week to wait and see (i.e. CNY) but I think they are referring to all the sales they had in the lead up to new years (Jan 1st).

Well I've put my first order in with them for a kit today, so will wait and see how it goes. Hopefully no delay for chinese new year as they've already had one holiday for the 'western' new year. 2 new years celebrations per year is just slack :ph34r: .

Agree at the moment that the prices are not helping their backlog issue, the kit I ordered is only costing a few more quid than it did back in 2007. I'm just trying to refrain from ordering any more at the moment. :)
