Holy Sluggish Servo Batman!

OK, so I was spending some quality time with some of my RC stuff this evening. I decided to dig out all my radio gear and start inventory and check over. I have come up with 19 transmitters and 26 receivers! [xx(] (my best set in a JR XR-3 Computer radio 3 channels)

So I set out to test all the receivers and transmtters. I get to the very old AristoCraft Hitech receiver. Since it has odd plugs I had to use the AristoCraft servos I had. HOLY SMOKES these things are S-L-O-W! And this was on a 6V receiver pack too. Good god, are all these ancient sets this slow??? [?]

I am not looking foreward to testing the mountain of servos I have....

Actually I have this Radio and reciever in my Striker, When I got the striker from e-bay, it had a mechanical speed control. Both steering and throttle were very non-responsive(slow!!!) That gear is back in the Striker, sence it's not the most durible and won't get run too hard.

Anyway mines slow to, dunno if all of em are like that.

I guess I'll have to try and wire up a modern servo and see what happens!
