Shodog 1835 Posted December 13, 2013 I'm getting one of these and a spare body. In the showrooms I only see nib listings. Surely someone has built one so go ahead and post a pic of your creations
BangkokBulldog 151 Posted December 13, 2013 I too would like to see a few of these finished Shodog. I'm thinking of using the 911 body on an old Cyclone TC chassis for the 13.5t Non Boost class next year!
njmlondon 570 Posted December 13, 2013 I saw one in Hamleys yesterday... it does look very good. Problem is Tamiya have spoiled us with the hard-bodied 934/935 and the amazing detail on the 959 and the excellent feel of the GT2... and TBH this is just missing the excellence that makes them so special. A great body for the TT-01 to be sure, but the rest of the Porsche range is definitely superior IMHO.
Percymon 2184 Posted December 13, 2013 The first one built on the forum is here.. http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=71401&hl=porsche#entry512344 in non box art

pininfarina 1009 Posted December 13, 2013 Hi will be building one very soon :-) just gathering parts and paints However i prefer's HPI's scale :-)
Shodog 1835 Posted December 14, 2013 Kit and extra body came in today. Upon inspecting the contents of the kit, I would have to agree with nmjlondon that the chassis is less than stellar. I plan to build it tomorrow The body has a 251mm wheelbase, far more than the 237mm wheelbase of the porsche GT2. Years ago I bought a TRF415 and tried to use the TA-04ss rear arms and TB05 front arms to convert it to fit GT2 body but failed. I thinking that conversion will fit this body
Shodog 1835 Posted December 14, 2013 Pininfarina, I'd agree that the HPI cup racers are awesome. I have a couple of those also.

Shodog 1835 Posted September 30, 2015 Blitz that RSR looks super sweet. I like that you used solid colors in the paint, gives it a cool old look
Shodog 1835 Posted September 30, 2015 Today I got my set of Correct Model Classic G wheels for my RSR road car. The front wheel is a 3mm offset and 9mm offset on the rear. I really like that old school BBS look to these wheels.
Leethal Driver 86 Posted September 30, 2015 How did you get the black inserts on the Fuchs Blitz? Looks great, struggled with mine so far.

Shodog 1835 Posted September 30, 2015 The Fuchs require tedious painting to get them to look as nice as Blitz's. I'm starting to like the silver painted wheel more than the chrome GT2 wheels I used on mine
Blitz Supra 442 Posted September 30, 2015 How did you get the black inserts on the Fuchs Blitz? Looks great, struggled with mine so far. First i have sprayed the silver areas with chrome effect spray (automotive paint), then i used a fine brush and tamiya x18 semi gloss black for the black areas on the wheelcovers and for the the silver areas on the inside of the wheels which should not be visible.
