My TA03 Lancia project

So it started with a stock TA03F from qatmix, thanks mate. The plan was pretty much just to buy a short tub and belt to fit the Lancia 037 body

Pretty soon it got out of hand when I came by a heap of TA03 hop ups As most if my cars it's more show than go, so I'm sure the setup isn't optimal for the track. Just want it to look nice Some plastic is new, some old. To make it perfect I should replace some of the worn parts, but that's a matter for the future.

I have got this far now. All the work with the body itself is still ahead...

The 037 is one of the nicer body put out by Tamiya. And once you add the interior cockpit is the icing on the cake. I think if you can get the TRF TA03RS chassis you likely have the hop up available except the Ti fasteners. like you, i am more into looks than performance.

My favourite car, I really enjoyed doing the body on mine, the detailing takes a bit of time but it's worth the end result!

Looks great! I became very much obsessed with the 037, and regret not having the funds for the re-release - although with the original, I am hardly complaining...

Steve, your thread was the inspiration for this build Although I don't think my detailing skills are even close to yours. The 037 body is awesome. I kick myself for not buying another when they were available at a reasonable price at rc-mart This is my first on-road car, mostly into off-road. Probably not the last though. It was a nice build!
