Heres a few pics of my recently sold CR-01 crawler which i fitted a modified Clodbuster body to.

The blower was smoothed out as was the sunroof and the body posts were mounted on the underside of the body and slid into the chassis downwards and then pinned from underneath,

Headlights and spotlights were wired on a separate 9v battery hidden under the coolerbox and it was then given a shot of red primer and then grey primer brushed on randomly.

very nice build, the clod body looks good on the cr01.

I have a junfac lizard cr01 I was going to go for the clod body but at the time I couldn't get one so ended up with a trail finder body. I wish I kept looking now. :(

I really like the clod body,i want to get my hands on another couple of bodies and make a dual cab version which i've seen a few others do,i would base it on an extended hi-lift chassis, that would be a nice build.

Looks FANTASTIC great work surprised you have sold it I bet you will miss it. Imagine how it would have looked with slightly stretched wheelbase and clod tyres

I love the realistic look. and how you made it to hide the body post. I wish I would remember to hide my body post when I do my build. I may have to make a note of that and stuff it in the box. I've always hated the body post sticking up through.
