Aeromax build thread

Recommended Posts

never get tire watching a built from start to finish. piece by piece...screw by screw and the photos are just great and a break between the build. The only thing i would like Tamiya to include are 2 locking diff. piece. these trucks will be unstoppable.

keep the progress coming and many thanks.

There is lots of wiring to hide or make tidy but I'm getting there... Wheels on next for a quick test drive...

There is no place for reverse lights but I have a plan to use the five holes in the back of the cabin..( where the switch blank goes) Two for reverse and three for additional red tail lights.

Still red wine time at the moment :)

Braiding the wires together like you would a woman's long hair make for a tidy loom of wire. You can either wrap it with electrical tape or cover it in heat shink tubing it will tuck nicely up in the frame. The knight hauler has a back up light. I bought the corresponding parts sprues to fit a back up light to my king hauler

I loomed the wires together from the rear.. I have pinned them down on the front plate...

Need to extend some of the front ones and maybe add some connectors so the cab can be removed if necessary later

I have Headlights, Indiators, Reverse and Permenant Lighting to go to the Cab..

I think I will use 5 JST connectors to make a loom..

I have used these before on my other models for the lighting to shell conector.

It's wheels time then the theme of the build...

Well it's not a scaler... With flip paint and tinted flip windows so ... hmmm

All out on side orange led markers, rear additional tail and install reverse lights in cab and blue under lighting or is that to much ...

Follow on but knowing me it will be all out

You are a speedy builder!

I do say go all out. Make it funky, lights, decals, etc.

While you have a great build thread so far, now it's gonna get really good as it all comes together.

Keep it up!

Cheers,

Skottoman
