What to do with a TL01?

Hi All!

With the successful completion of the restoration of my father's ex-race TL01LA, I find myself once again between projects.

I have an unused TL01 chassis in good nick, so I had probably best base my next project on that. However, with the versatility of the TL01, I have many options as to what to do with it.

I have an unused Blackfoot body that I want to turn into an Earthroamer-inspired motorhome, whch I could base on the TL01.

I also have an unused HPI Evo VI bodyshell and a set of mounted rally blocks, so I could turn it into another rally car to run alongside my TT01RA.

I could easily source a Baja Champ bodyshell and TL01B suspension arms, and turn it into a Baja Champ to run alongside my Baja King.

Or I could get a Kamtec baja bug shell and put that on it.

Or I could shorten it and turn it into a 4WD mini to run alongside my FWD M03.

I could even fit my spare TL01LA suspension and uprights and run it as a track racer.

What would you do?

If I had the know how it would be a 4w4 mini with a monster mini bodyshell!

Would it be an easy conversion?

I'm in a similar position XV in that I have a spare TL chassis but I'm thinking to cut 15mm out of it to better suit a Kamtec Baja Bug shell I also have spare. ATM it's just a bit too long for my liking but I might go down a different route and make some brackets to bolt the chassis together. That way I hope to be able to run it in its standard length or shortened.

I converted mine into a tractor truck with some bruder parts. Looks pretty cool. Gonna flat bed it and use it as a tow truck for my losi mini rock crawler

Thanks, I will keep that in mind. Come to think of it, my nephew has a TL01B in need of a new shell. Any chance of pics and prices?
