Academy STR-4 Rally-F

Has anybody heard of this make/model before? It comes with a Ford Focus body. Is it a modern or vintage and is there an audience for this car?

I think Academy are Korean.

Don't know what happened but years ago someone had a go at import and distribution in the UK. I ran an SB Sport which was effectively the off-road version of the STR4 for a year and it was a great budget race buggy.

Either overseas supply or UK distribution failed and Academy was only around in the UK for a couple of years. I do think the RC cars are still made but they don't get to UK shores.

As for audience, its going to be limited.

Academy is a Korean static model company. I see them in the shadow of Tamiya whereas Tamiya models are polished diamonds theirs are diamond in the rough...is getting better. I am not surprise at all they are branching towards rc .
