mheald I am using the stock ESC but I am running 2 duratrax photon speed two motors 20 turns they are ... BUT you need to bend the endbell tabs open with a cutter pliers and put the end cap in the center slot so it will have 0 timing.

You may be able to use 2 atomick (venom) fireball 19 turn motors just set there timing to 0 ... the esc don't get strained to much because of the clods super low gearing.

I don't think so it's way down inside the chassis in the tub like chassis...but I do have a waterproof one in my clod.

One thing that gets me the most with this clip is that, all this time I had 1 reservation about the clob/madbull, in that its stability/ability to tumble over would be far too easy. But seeing the abuse this clod takes and the horizontal angles it can lean to and still stay relatively stable is unreal
