Hi guy's I was wondering if anyone makes a ball end that works with the stock Tamiya parts that has a tighter fit?

On my clodbuster it uses this type ball ends shown in the photo below and they have so much play in them and I wanted to keep it stock the rods and ball joints and maybe just replace the plastic rod ends with better ones that snap on tighter with less play.

anyone know of any ones that work better?

THANKS

which ones r u referring to? Afaik the blue knobs are 6mm vintage Egress specials.

The black ends on the sway bar should be 5mm... usually aren't that sloppy.

Usually the only areas needing improvement are the "full" ball cups (black);

if I'm bothered I'll swap them for 53601 Low Friction 5mm Adjuster (same mold but grey).

Balls are available in Florine coating too.

Or if you don't want to spend any $$, grab a roll of Teflon plumbers tape

and layer 2-4 sheets over ball then snap the cup over. Yank off excess around it.

Some ppl even use a supermarket shopping bag for material...

Hi I have the ones used on the super clodbuster and need ones that fit tighter they have side to side play and they are new only ran the clod like 8 times or so.

and layer 2-4 sheets over ball then snap the cup over. Yank off excess around it.

I was thinking of putting a drop of oil on them and then a drop of CA glue on them and wiggle them around until the CA dries this works in other similar situations to take out slop.

THANKS
