King Cab project

Getting close to finishing the Super Champ build and I am thinking I might start this one next. Just received this in the mail today and it is going to be a King Cab using a ***** body, some vintage Autographics decals, and new wheels. The tires are in very good shape and will be reused. Overall, the chassis is in great condition, complete with Thorp axles in the rear.

Very Nice . I love to see these Vintage decals on a period correct truck . With the right wheels and tyres this is going to look excellent

That is good looking and those decals look like they will fit the bill perfectly. Is there a reference shot you can show us of the painted up 1:1 with those same decals??? I think when you are done, you need to add my Hilux Racer to your stable, almost ready to run, just needs assembling.

Chris, I couldn't find pics of the 1:1 in this particular scheme. Seems most of his trucks had "Budweiser" or "General Tire" above the "Nissan" on the sides. Guess mine will be different!
