Grasshopper 58346 - Harder to get?

I am wondering if the Grasshopper 58346 is on its way out? I contacted Stella and they said it hasn't been on the sales list since August 2013. Also only a handful of sellers on Ebay sell the kit now. I don't think the kit has been discontinued as far as i am aware, it is getting harder to buy compared to a year ago i noticed. The kit has been going since 2005 so not a bad run. I am also trying Banzai but they also seem out of stock at the moment....

Stella also said that they could not get the hi caps "Yet" , samurai-japan-2009 was selling them for months .

So who knows . Maybe there supplier does not supply anymore ?.

Also jr-rc has one for sale $78. not to bad of a price.

Temporary supply problems, I guess. Tower doesn't have any in stock (On Order) and TamiyaUSA has none either. Likely they are waiting for shipment from Japan/Philippines.

Hopefully the kits weren't in these containers that fell overboard. (sarcasm)

I got lucky today, I just discovered the Grasshopper kit at my local hobby store. Worked out about $20 more buying at the shop than if i purchased it online. Had to have it.. Will build ready for the next local vintage/rere TC meet in May.
