Which esc?

Hi could someone please tell me if any of the cheap esc's at model sport have built in lipo alarms/cut off as I can only see one which is lipo compatible but does not state it has alarm or cut off.

think its quite safe to assume anything "lipo compatible" = cutoff

i have not heard of any ESC that's only got a builtin alarm that beeps at you

Thanks I'll have another look around their site, trying to keep the cost of this build down.

ESC`s usually "stutter" a couple of times then stop, when the lipo is at its cut off voltage.

The RV12 assault and the Tio range from Modelsport/Mtronics are all Lipo ready, and you can switch it off if you run an Nimh batt.

the Modelsport Trident XT20 are made by Mtroniks, i have a few of them now and they work great, waterproof, lipo cut-off along with a compact size and price, you can't go wrong.

I have also got a couple of the Mtroniks RV12 assault and one tio, there also very good esc's that are backed up with a great warranty.

Cheers guys looks like I at least made the right decision on the esc, can't wait till the rest of the items arrived as my daughter is getting very impatient waiting for the build ...... Though understandable as she did get the kit for christmas !
