Hey Percymon, how did you get you RPM Revolvers to fit? It seems the inside rim hits the car. I do not have the hex adapters yet but just putting the wheels on, it appears I need a longer axles?

I fitted the hex adapters (ca 15mm long at a guess) and just dropped the revolvers on. I think there are normal and narrow versions of the revolvers, not sure whether that means the rim width or the overall track width once fitted. ( ie offset)

I used the Tamiya frog re-re hex adaptor for the rear so I could fit the rear Tamiya hummer wheels and tires. On the front I used the wheels from a kyosho scorpion with the same Tamiya hummer tires but with a section cut out of the middle to make them more narrow. Using tire glue gives a really good hold and the tires stand up to a lot of abuse.

@ToykidI'm not sure if you will see this but if so can you tell me where you got the front light bar? It's perfect for a project I'm working on.

Thanks @WillyChang. Yes, I am aware he’s behind Knight Custons but I actually didn’t find that lightbar on shapeways, though I might just have missed it of course. I will take another look.

I see you are based in Victoria, same!

Come to think if it, 2014 he was just starting out. That WildOne would’ve been an early effort, maybe not even DIY printed bits

Early on I think he used a fair few bits off Axial SCX10 etc ; who else was in the early crawler market?

Yes, I had seen something about that but hadn’t quite digested all the rules/entry criteria yet! I think I might head down just to have a look and take my Egress and Wild One just in case ;) where in Vic are you?

P.S.  sorry for derailing the thread

Lol. Sounds good, if I get a DQ I will say I was following WillyChang’s rules ;)

I’m in Brighton, bayside, with all the other ex-pats ;)

I'm trying to find some nice street tires to go on my Wild One. Do y'all think the street rover tires will fit the wild ones rims? If not, do y'all have some recommendations.

I thought I can give that a go and with some tinkering they will fit the front wheels go straight on the back need the adaptors to be swapped (these street rover tyres & wheels are off my blitzer beetle metallic edition)
