That Pantera is beautiful, but red paint sure does fade in the sun :)

The E-type would be lovely too, but that would so end up being a shelf queen.

I'd like to see some more BMW love from Mr T. We've had the M3, but a 2002 or a CSL batwing would be equally ace.

Tell you what, if Tamiya released either of these with full detail I'd buy them like a shot... even if it was on a flippin DT02 chassis :)

ALFA ROMEO GIULIA TZ2 Carrozzata... `65

CHEVROLET CAMARO Z28 RACE CAR `69

Hmmmmm... those two have kept me up far too late at night playing GT6 :)

I'd love to see a Corvette, Shelby GT and a Ford RS200 from Tamiya, so I could paint them after the Riding Bean movie and Gunsmith Cats series.

I'm OK with lexan bodies, since they can look awesome with the right paint job, appropriate decals and working light buckets.

I think Tamiya would get plenty of sales if they released a few "everyman" bodyshells representing the cars we drive in our day-to-day lives. A lot of folk would like to recreate their fullsize rides in miniature, especially if said cars also have an enthusiast following. Hot hatches on the M chassis, fullsize cars on the TT02, offroaders and crossovers on the CC01 (or CC02 if they ever release one).

I actually had the pleasure to help prepare the bodywork to be painted on one of these little beasts so it could go to a motor museum,it was driven to the bodyshop and you could hear it coming from about 3 miles away!

But which chassis would you mount it on?

My List

De Lorean - I see even Lego even have a De Lorean kit out now.

Pantera De Tomaso- HPI do a good body, but it would be nice with pop up lights and not the dodgy ones I installed and need to finish off :D

Karmann Ghia

Ford Escort Mk1

Lotus Espirit

Shelby Cobra

and lots of other sports cars from the 60's and 70's

Which reminds me: while I never drove one, how about a Mazda Lantis in JTCC form?!
