I finally got to start the GF01 build.

I must say I had some fun build this as it was my first Tamiya kit build in a while

Really happy with how is came out

Anyway pictures below can speak for themselves.

Parts unboxed and laid out

Gears in and chassis screwed together.

Motor installed

Suspension arms on

Yellow shocks on

Servo installed

Rest of the electrics installed

On its wheels

Body cut out

Body painted

Decals on and the car finished

They look like a fun compact truck looks very much like a wild dagger chassis just shorted and connected to a single motor

Great looking machine and good choice of colour scheme.

Is it just me, or does the chassis look like a beefed up 4wd Mini?

Not just you Falcon#5, I mentioned the similarities in the preview thread. all those gears, looks like they blew up a 4wd wild mini. I do like it though.

Glad I haven't lost my Tamiya eyes after all this time.
