Monster Beetle Front Uprights

Yet again my monster beetle is broken!!

Out with it today and one of the front uprights broke, truck kept on working, but still, yet another repair

On closer examination the other side has cracked aswell.

Are there any upgrades available?

could the plastic have become brittle over time and eventually the whole truck will crack and crumble?

Could the damage have been done on a very cold day out ie -3 degrees?

anyway pondering the molecular composition of plastic wont fix my MB, any ideas for upgrades or does anyone have any parts?

what part is the "upright"[?]

is it the bit where the front shock attaches and has also has the font wishbone assembly linked to it aswell?

i think i fitted these to my mb today - and my mb is now fully working again! []

eventually a used car will crumble cos of stress - but things like wd 40 can cause cracks to appear (never use this stuff on your rc[])

the mb has a poor use of screws where a nut and bolt should be - perticuly on the shock mounts, i have replaced all the screws with nuts and bolts - to stop stress - which causes cracking[8)]

Usually it's the piece that the steering hooks up to and also includes the front wheel shafts. Well as is my understanding [8)]

I wouldn't know of any upgrades really, but I do know that it you tighten things up too much they crack and that it's pretty bad on the Blackfoot/Beetle etc. I may be able to help you with some replacements since I have a lot of parts for those cars. Reckon you could get me a picture of what's broken [?]

Do you have a spare front body mount for a Monster Beetle kicking about?

I could do with the front mount (the upright) that has the upper shock mountings on it, too, should you have one of those spare!
