Very aftermarket project for SRB's

Recommended Posts

I have been working the last three weeks taking apart old SRB's that I purchased on ebay about 8 years ago..There are four cars which contain lots of old aftermarket parts..Most of these parts are in great shape after a lot of TLC..The plan is to build one each of the original three SRB and a Super Champ ..Two will have the MIP four wheel drive conversion system and the MIP Tranny along with the MIP IRS 200 Flex drive..One will have the Flex Drive with Original Tranny.. Actually all will have a ball diff in the tranny..All will have roll cages and nurf bars..Now lets see if I can post a picture.. If this works I will come back and clean this up with better explanation and lots more pictures..

This picture stuff is really difficult for me..I don't know why the pictures don't show up just the link????

I think this will become four separate links..That way we can see the assembly of each of the cars..First car will start this weekend..Probably the Sand Scorcher...

very nice! Can't wait to see progress on this. I've been looking for a 4x400 kit to go on one of my SRBs forever :(

Lots of great aftermarket parts from MIP and RCH in that picture. However if it were me, I wouldn't mix that new ball diff and aluminum spur gear with your vintage parts. I would try to keep it all period hardware

You got a fortune there in parts. The buggy you build sure is going to be awesome!
