From a Sawback to a Willys! (or as near as i'm going)

After getting the Sawback from Fusion i wasn't happy with it's overall look so hit google got a couple of pictures in blueprint style and started to mod the heck out of it!

Anyway on to some pic's.

Old front.

New.

Handles.

Rear cross member and hoops.

Start of rear bench seat.

Exhaust.

Spade and Axe.

And still more to make and fit LOL.

Even the relatively easy front end shell trimming has made a massive difference to the look

Got to agree with you. When it 1st can out, it just did nothing for me, exterior wise. The body looks to be from the 70s. The detailings you have done is like senting a so so girl to make up school and a hair saloon. She is slowly turning heads.:-D Not quite a looker yet, but has potentials.

Next update will have :- Spare wheel carrier, Jerry can and holder Rear bench seat and roof sticks in the down position! Light buckets fitted and i'll have to see about lighting the thing up aswell now .

Quite a transformation Very nice. Been watching the Sawback and really like the chassis but never fancied the bodywork. These mods makes it interesting in a new way

Just added a Leopard hobby 20.5t brushless motor, 80a waterproof esc and an all metal hi tq waterproof CYS servo ALL from Asiatees and also got the programme card which realy helps with the setup of how you want the rig to move.

Will sort pictures out soon.

Now it's time to Man up!

Cut 10mm out of tummy and welded back together and took a little off the neck as he looked like a giraffe LOL, He WAS HM Armed Forces! and still is in a modded way now he's in a boiler suit with a near UN painted helmet.

Held in by a long screw instead of an ugly zip tie.
