Most likely from a model BMW.

1:1 history lesson :

Michelin TRX tyres came along in the mid 1970's were mainly fitted to BMW's in the + some top-of -the-range Ford Granada Mk2 models & Ferrari 308.

The wheel rims were metric and only TRX tyres would fit them...and they were expensive. Nowadays they are quite hard to find and still very expensive - £200+ EACH.

As far as I know the only other tyre manufacturer which made tyres to fit metric rims was Avon.

Most owners ditched the metric rims and replaced with normal imperial size rims from a similar model due to the high cost and difficulty sourcing replacement TRX tyres when they were worn.

Having been the owner of a Mk2 Ford Granada fitted with the TRX rims many moons ago I speak from experience.

Off a 58040 Lancia Rally maybe..

The tyre tread looks similar.. I'm not sure if the Lancia Tyres had Michelin written on them though..
