I would like to build some basher. I'm not liking how I'm ruining my Tamiyas every Sunday. Been thinking about something like Bigfoot Shuttle (see pic below). The bodyshell is a ***** Aerostar. Not much detail, and wrong wheel-arches, yes, but it is the only thing available to try. I am wondering if anybody here in TC ever used one of these bodies? I've searched the net looking for pictures of some Aerostar bodied RC but there isn't any.

Anybody of you guys ever used one of these ***** bodies?

Also what chassis would work for this? Not worried about wheelbase as that can be modified in most chassis, but I would like it to be 4x4, and most of all cheap.

These low tires (for 2.2 wheels) seem to be the closest thing available for the Shuttle:

It would be nice if you could share some ideas.

You all have a great Sunday! :)

There was a mooneye's van a while back. I forget who made it, but I'm thinking Parma. It was a Chevy Astro. Kyosho made a van version of the blizzard, called it the heavy metal I think.

Check RC4WD for tires.

Thanks emory70,

The Mooneyes van is too short, and I think the Econoline body of the Blizzard isn't that easy to find...

Anyway, just today I got the chassis today, an HPI wheely king. I like the ***** Aerostar body, but my budget's too tight for that right now. Oh, well, let's see where this project ends...

It ends... with the BoogeyVan!

But in all seriousness, the Bigfoot Shuttle is probably more feasible.

Hi Grastens :)

Here's an RC Boogeyvan body photo:

Anyway, here's what I'll start the project with. I'm just smiling and looking forward. :D
