NOW SOLD - Tamiya DT-02 buggy in 'DT-02 Challenge' Race Spec

All the discussion of last years DT02 challenge event heightened my interest in this chassis, so I built one up for myself

It's never been run since I built it, and with lots of other cars in my collection, it's not likely to be used anytime soon

It started life as a barely used chassis from TC member SVDT02, so it does have a couple of very light scuffs underneath.

The chassis was fully stripped down, and uprated pretty much in line with qatmix RCRacer article , as follows..

• differential rebuilt with 15000wt silicone diff oil and Associated green slime (no leaks)
• front wishbones flipped over to increase wheelbase
• hinge step screws replaced with low friction shafts and e clips
• front upright and rear hubs step screws replaced with low friction shafts and e clips
• Tamiya 5.5mm shims used where necessary
• 30g of weight ballast added at the front
• Shocks completely rebuilt with all new seals , 35wt oil front, 30wt oil rear
• adjustable upper camber links
• new DT02 silver rims
• new dBoots nanobyte rear tyres and new crossbyte (cut stagger) front tyres
• new Sand Viper body and wing
• new Tamiya carbon shock towers at front (including X brace) and rear
• new Tamiya Sport Tuned motor
• Tamiya ESC included (need to check whether -101 or -104 or -105) but no radio gear

A great chassis for Tamiya Club fun runs, intro to club racing, general bashing or entry into DT02 Challenge

Will include some new parts sprues if sold via TC forum - will be buggy only if it goes onto eBay so TCmembers get a better deal

New Sand Viper kit is ca £109, this one has £40+ of upgrades , plus spare too !
