My friend pointed out that this color scheme reminds him of Christmas.

I had that with a sand scorcher I was building and it took me an age to mask the body for spraying and did it the red and yellow livery and I was so proud of it!..........As I was looking proudly at my creation the wife walked passed (normally doesn't say a word about my builds) just casually said "that's looks like noddy's car" and that stuck in my mind every day I looked at it😕

Now that u mentioned it, it does bear some resemblance due to the color scheme. Been a while since I've watched Noddy. Eldest in Uni.

 

On anothe note, RCmart denied my claim that the stickers are defective as they cannot get a replacment.

Had a call today from the very nice people at Fusion Hobbies here in the UK - the Fighting Buggy is finally with the UK distributor and will be arriving at Fusion in the next few days. What with all the delays everyone has experienced getting kits and parts from tamiya, wherever you may be, it's always good to know that eventually, these things do actually materialise!

I can't see any of SPD's sales for some reason - I can see your link @Falcon#5 and they still have more of them for sale, but when I click on 'other items' or store, there's nothing listed

lol - I remember when discussion, let alone links, about repro decals was forboden. Bans were issued FFS.

In a similar era I was told to STFU when I suggested that the OP should be able to change the title of their own threads... which I see is now also permissible.

Took an opportunity to get out for a few shots of my recently finished FB. No decals on this one, not yet anyway but it might get some down the track. It did get some runner wheels on and driven too. It was great to see that funky rear suspension doing its thing in the rough stuff.
