:( I post up photos showing my rides with my mirrors and they get deleted what the heck?

I never posted up in the threads when I started them that I am selling them... Just wanted to show them off on my rides no different than anyone else showing there RC's with parts they moded and put on them!

CRAZY! So I can't show one of my RC's what it looks like after I put my mirrors on it but I can show one with some other scale add on parts I buy or like other guy's make themselves ? CRAZY! :o

:rolleyes: Guess I can't show anyone any of my RC cars now because I put mirrors on them that I made??????... No different than all these posts with guy's showing builds with custom chassis they make and other parts maybe you should delete those posts also?

I guess TC figured you had enough free advertisment for your product. But the photo is still in this very forum topic.

I like the mirror on the Street Rover and SC better. The WW needs a mirror with an arm. Mind you, it still looks better with your mirror than without. For particle purpose your mirror will be better suited than with an extention arm type.

That may be if I made them like crazy but I only make a few once every 3 to 5 months or so and only like 5 to 10 pairs at a time.

I was originally just making the thread showing my cars with my mirrors then guy's asked about buying them.

Let the moderator explain why...it could just be a mistake or in violation of Section XYZ, Clause Q, Paragraph 1506....

At times I feel like TC is like 1984.

One post was deleted as when I went to merge it with the other thread you already had running about your mirrors, I saw the 'Street Rover' thread had been edited to include the Wild WIlly pic too

The thread was deleted with a PM sent to you;

Please don't start new topics for each model you discover your mirrors will fit - One is enough.

This was sent at 21:42 17/08, so 11.5 hours ago.

Regardless of how many you make, and how frequently, once you start adding prices shipping costs etc. then it gets moved to the 'for sale' section.

Had you responded to the first 'are these for sale' with a firm no, I'd be inclinded to believe you were innocently showing a part you'd made, but once you got into

I can ship them over seas I did it before but you would need to pay me for the extra actual shipping charges as I have no way of knowing until I pack it all up and send it out at the post office... a lot of times I just charge the $9.99 + $3.00 and if it's more or less I will refund you or ask for the extra for shipping.

Hi yes I have a couple for sale black and 2 pairs of white and one pair of dark blue mirrors.

the thing that stinks is it costed me $6.50 to ship over seas the other day.

it turned into a trade ad.

After they were listed on eBay (16/08), that kinda confirmed it;

You may also want to refer back to this thread where you mentioned them before; http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=70667&hl=mirrors

And this one where you posted them up for sale the day before that; http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=70660&hl=mirrors

And, from the end of your Blitzer 'promotional video'

I assume it's just a coincidence that you feel the need to show people what your models look like every time you have some more mirrors for sale?

I honestly think you were lucky to not have all the posts about the mirrors deleted. Advertising Tamiya repro parts are after all not allowed here on TC, and though your mirrors are made of a different material, they are in fact blatant copies of the originals.

I'm a tolerant "nice-guy", but If I'd been a mod here, I'd ban advertising of them as I think selling them is a violation of Tamiya's rights, which I think is especially critical for original (incl. re-re) parts that are still in production.

I think so long as we keep a low profile, Tamiya is just going to let it ride. Is not like we will be opening a 10000m2 warehouse to fill orders. 10 or 20 pieces on knock offs is really nothing. Is like a fruit fly will have an effect on an elephant.

I guess TC deemed you have flown above the radar line.

How about you don't offer advice on such a serious problem when you clearly have no grasp of the situation?

Repro goods trading is still not permitted on Tamiyaclub, at all - they are not ok in batches of 10 or 20 pieces.

You've started two replies in this thread alone with either "I think" or "I guess" and you've been wrong both times.

These mirrors are a matter for Tamiya and Shenlonco to have issue with - as far as I'm concerned they're made of a different material so could be considered as a hopup - same as aluminium versions of chassis plates, bulkhead blocks etc.

Whether they infringe any of Tamiya's rights is down to Tamiya to decide.

Judging by activity elsewhere on the forum, it doesn't look like the OP has anything further to add, so we'll call it a day on this thread
