I been taking my tamiyas out the last week going through them giving them all a run ... so far out of everything to me the pumpkin lunch box types are very fun to run I think it's the way they look and run that makes them a FUN rc to drive ...what do you guy's like to run that always puts a smile on your face when driving it?

Lately, it has been an Audi Quattro:

It drives imprecisely, but it will still pop wheelies when gunned on asphalt and has a manic look about it when it comes barreling down!

I mean, I like all my cars - my Striker stupefies me with its (relative) speed while my Lancia Rally is the subject of a long love affair

The first time I drove it, I had the biggest smile on my face, just like the one the Quattro gave me :)

But as my collection goes, I think the Group B rally cars have to give me the most enjoyment! That is, until I finish...:

(still technically a Group B car - just one to go on a WR-02!)

All the Tamiya models I have put a smile on my face, well maybe not a smile, but happiness in my mind. This happiness is not just running them (because I hardly run them any more) but looking at them as well. I have a cabinet a the foot of my bed where I keep my models and each night, as corny as it sound, I open the cabinet door (none glass type) and look at them  before I nodd off.

All of the Vintage Monster Trucks put a grin on my face mainly due to their major lack of stability but I think the Lunchbox just about pips it for outright hilarity

Most fun to run would have to be my pumpkin or WW2. But the ones that put a smile on my face are my High Lift and king hauler. Both have sound units which make them cool just to sit and idle

got to agree with that, especially the king with the tanker at back. try reversing it is whole new experience. i got the auto legs for the tanker with the cheapest double A's batteries. over 4 yrs later, the batteries still work and no crap leaking out. Some of the crome pieces and the metal side pipes have tarnished a bit. Still enjoy looking at her. Still in production, what you get for the price is amazing. if one can only have one rc and unlimited budget, any of the big rigs will do.

Previous I have been very much into building custom E-maxx's, driving 1/8 truggies, buggies and SC's, but always ends back at Tamiyas, and it seems like this time it is for good :)

I just have a lot of good time opening a NIB Tamiya kit, building it, and then just throw in a 7,2v. nimh. and have fun. With the larger RC's, it is minimum 4s lipos and a motorcombo that pricewise will buy me 2-3 NIB Tamiyas. For me it is also very convenient with the 1/10 cars, just to drive around in the garden. Much easier to just go out and empty a pack, in stead packing up the 1/1 car with a large monstertruck going of to a field or track, is much more time consumpting.

But yes all the cars I have had, have put a smile on my face. Just watching the build coming together, and recognize the blast from the past in these beauties, makes me feel good.

I think I just gota look at um and I smile, but most fun with a model running, would have to be My Madcap with the 11T motor, that is FUN

Here is curve ball. What make me mad is every time I look at Street Rover. Like the neon or candle apple green, the wheels are just right, the driver is cool, the wind shield is the icing on the cake, but those opennings in the front and rear is like a beautiful girl with bad teeth.

Its the only model I have a love and hate relationship.

The Fox I just finished restoring!

It's also my first Buggy and I just adore the way it handles. Plus the fact that the spoiler at the front allows it to jump up kerbs which the 12 year old inside all grown men thinks is really cool.

I close second comes running my Rally cars in Grizedale forest while on holiday earlier this year, I can't think of a more appropriate or iconic spot to run them (unless anyone wants to fund a trip to Monte Carlo!)

for me its my old M-chassis cars (especially the M-04 variants i have ), i have tried all scales and types but i always come away with a huge grin when i run the tiny M's, the holiday buggy and other dt02 variants are a very close second place in the ' kid at christmas', like grin stakes' , :)

Nothing makes me happier than playing with my Willy.........

(there, I said it...)

Yep anything you can put Willy in. (Can we call Willy a 'rolling' model?)

My vote for biggest smile has to go to my old beat-up, stock, $50 at a yard sale Clod Buster. It's like a big dumb golden retriever or something; it just galumphs along, right over anything in its path, and looks cool doing it. Plus, I don't have to cringe if something goes wrong, since it's held together by rust and hot-glue anyway.

There is nothing more exhilarating than hanging out a m04 sideways and successfully bringing it back while on the brink of losing it :) Man I miss my S2000!

All my RC's have their merits and charms, but right now it has to be these:

My MAN with MFC-03 and reefer with rear axle steering, Tamiya at it's finest. I never get bored of driving this thing!

And my dunger CC01 Pajero Ute, I love this little thing. Tekin 35t, hobbywing 1060 esc, Junfac 4 link and rc4wd wheels and tyres, plus some custom touches and still more to come! It's a beast! :)

My FAV.

Don't have any pictures of it outside I don't think. Doesn't handle great, doesn't go that fast (deliberately) but it looks so **** cool doing it. I need a big open space though, as I hit a lampost once and was so worried I had broken it!
