Ok so maybe my next Tamiya will be the Toyota Land Cruiser 40 P/Up - GF01 but I was wondering is the wheel base the same as the wild willy 2?

also how does it drive compared to the willy I am hoping it does a little less wheelies like the lunch box because the front is now heaver with the extra gear box ?

anyone own them and can give me there thoughts on there difference's will be great.

Thanks

Three different cars that wheelie just fine, the GF01 is fast and wheelies as good as the WR02 but thanks to the 4wd and a little more weight up front is much better at cornering.

Go for it.

Better handling AND stunts, you say? Sounds more versatile and unaffected by the added weight of front-wheel drive to complement the rear. I guess that makes sense as the GF-01 gears look the same going to either end.

Either way, it sounds like a good time - think I may try the WR-02 first, though ;)

Is adding weights to the front to reduce the wheelie effect an option for this next project, Shen?

check out this one!

look at the tires he has at the end!

The last set of tyres is for mud i suppose.

Even the 2nd last set of tyres is nice!

Out of interest, has anyone measured the diameter of the stock GF-01/Toyota kit wheels? - are they 2.2 or bigger? (In recycling mode I was thinking they could be used for something else with non-low profile/crawler tyres fitted for example).

Just measured them, they are 2.9" diameter and 1.8" wide

Thanks d1nzfe - wow, those are hooge... does anyone know what other kits they are used in (ie. if there are tyre options) or were they particularly designed for this kit? - strange they went for such a low-profile 'urban-ganasta' style combo on what is ostensibly an old-skool style truck?
