Having sold all my tamiya models to fund a kit car last year (still building car!) I have slowly been trying to recoup my collection as the big spend is now done on the kit car project. There's nothing vintage just my faves and re-releases, below is collection to date and future buys planned;

M05 golf

M06 Alfa guilleta

Tt02 lancia integrale

Gf01 jimmy

Subaru brat

Ta04 (these last two bought tonight from rc mart!)

Losi 22 2 (£99 bargain from dms)

To buy;

Mountain rider

Txt-1 (if I can find one)

Trf101

Re re sand scorcher and buggy champ

Not sure what will be built and what will stay in boxes yet;-)

Well, then...

These all sound like fun cars - I have yet to run my WR-02, and a TA-04 has always been on my wishlist. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!

Which kit car are you building, Shaggy?

I would rather have a few models than a couple of expensive ones. Well actually I would like everything but money doesn't allow it.

I am building a rocket made by road track race, here's a pic of it in progress

I think it will be! It has a ford 2.0 zetec engine which In stock form pushes out 128bhp, pair that with a 550kg car and that's plenty of power. Eventually I plan to fit motorbike throttle bodies which should take it to 190bhp...yikes

Isn't few and couple the same? Yes your pet project has a 2.0, 4 banger by Ford, but it ain't no Ford nor the price tag of a Ford. Is a poor man F1  and a lot more fun than any expensive RC. The down side is a reallly really big track is require. :D

HI, why don't you make it larger?

Yes it's a poor mans ariel atom! Will be fully road legal but plan to do the odd track day too. Nearly bought their mevabusa but couldn't find a decent donor bike for less than £2500 whereas the zetec engine cost me £800 and that's brand new

Wow that looks like it'll be a blast on a road course!! I've thinned my herd to fund a build on my wagon as well. I still have a few I need to let go (it's the Tamiyas I can't seem to sell. Lol)

I'm putting a 6.1 Hemi stroked to a 392 with a 3.6L kenne bell supercharger on top. New heads, new fuel system, 9" rear conversion, CF driveshaft, and all the trimmings. :)

Horsepower potential is 1000-1200 rwhp. I'll keep it around 650-700 on the street and 800-900 at the track for the first year, then turn it up when I'm ready.

Good luck with your build. These never go as quickly as we'd like. Much like or RCs, half the fun is building them.

I can't wait to see a video of your new beast!!

Sounds awsome bandwagon.

Someone else has built a rocket with a supercharged vtec engine and it wipes the floor with the new Nissan skyline, not bad for £15k!

Don't think I could stretch to a blown Hemi ,couldn't afford the import duty for a start! (I wont get on my soap box for the tax on tax rip off lol )

Back on topic. I just realized i purchased several kits, all from rc mart, except the Wolf, since Aug this year.

3racing f113...build

Kyosho Scorpion

Tamiya wolf f104w

TRG F114w

Tamiya Black Special F1

Serpent F1...build, body not done.

Yokomo F1

and i am looking at Kyosho F1 plazma.

and the electronics from ESC, receivers, servos, gyros, motors and batteries will have me eating at McDonalds for some time.

I've gone into F1 in a big way and good thing several of the kits come in small packaging.

Don't think will buy any more....unless the blazer is re release..hopefully in the distance future. ;)

Not 100% Tamiya....looked at Tamiya new TRF f1, too much carbon, is a no for me.
