Frog Chassis question

Hi all, Does anyone know if Tamiya produced a black version of the chassis used on the frog, monster beetle, mud blaster etc? I am currently modding a Frog and would really like a black chassis.

I am not aware of a black chassis.

Regular "Frog" chassis frame colours:

Light Gray: Subaru Brat, Frog, Lancia Rally

Red: Blackfoot, Monster Beetle, Mud Blaster, Super Blackfoot

Blue: Bush Devil

Dark Gray: King Blackfoot

Special edition "Frog" chassis colours:

Chrome: Subaru Brat chrome edition

More colours???

Please note the molds and additional coloured parts (battery doors, switch mounts) are slightly different depending on vintage, re-release and chassis generations. They should be interchangeable, though, within some limitations (early vintage Brat chassis lack some screw holes, I assume).

You can dye a gray chassis to black.

Have a look at the King Blackfoot chassis though. It is a very dark gray.

I have bought the king blackfoot chassis. I got it from ebay because in ther pic it looked black. Should have done my research!!!

I think you'll be fine because the dark gray tone is very dark. You may like it.
