very nice to see something new and different, have always looked at these with awe and almost purchased one (a ready made one) so very interested to see how this goes, already daunting with the soldering but hey if the results are worth the learning curve why not!

Yes you can but not cheap... You can get gps modules and add waypoints ..

Is there a cheap RTR which can capture video yet? I'd be interested in something like that, just been waiting for the technology to allow something like that to drop under 3 figures...

So I have had a little fly.

On 2 cells it was sluggish and the battery could not deal the required current peaks

On 3 cell its a different beast..

More testing to do and LED to fit but I have had a few beers now and flying is not recommended lol

Took it out for a flight in the park... Upped the gain a little and turned on auto lvl... Used an 800ma 3 cell pack

It was awesome... Nice and smooth and I got 5 mins flight time with spare capacity

Need the LEDs to be fitted as orientation was a bit difficult

Am i correct to said with the 6 rotors, it should have quite the lifting power? With a gopro or similar will have a goid view of your neighborhood...like waiting for the mailman for you next delivery.
