My wife and I's first foray in to this great hobby. She couldn't believe how much fun our joint builds were or how much fun they were to drive!

Wicked, wish my Mrs would accept my hobby as more than just my 'expensive toy cars'

Question; looks like the car on the lefts' driver has lipstick on?!!

Hers Tamiya light gunmetal with Humbrol rattle can silver.. Did not like the Humbrol rattles.

Mine Tamiya Mica blue with Silverleaf wheels.. Much better!

Both cars have waterproof Servos and ESC's let down by a non waterproof receiver..... Ideas please:)?

Apart from 3300 battery and waterproof Esc's and waterproof Hi Torque servos nothing. We already have the Silver cans to slip in but we ran out of traction before grunt so the next jobs will be Hi torque saver plus Oil shox!

The buggies look great. As another man who is also lucky enough to share the hobby with his other half, I know how much fun it can be to build and drive RCs together. It surprises my wife and I that more couples don't do it!

As for your receivers, putting them in a balloon with a bag of dessicant works well, especially if you wrap the cables in blutac where they exit the balloon, and use a zip tie to compress the neck of the balloon over the blutac. This is the approach I took with my CC01 RX until Spektrum released a waterproof one, and I had no trouble with water ingress even when the RX was fully submerged during deep crossings.

So, what is Bruce's backstory? :)
