Winter Build-Off Anyone?

Oh man the suspense is killing me! I've got a few different chassis's I can get to work on depending on the theme... I just need to know what direction to start running in

I have 2 chassis' at the ready to start with depending on the theme. I have no doubt this will be a unique build regardless of the theme and can't wait to start brainstorming ideas, my winter is filling up with a variety of different builds.

Really? I have too many ideas for on screen and keep getting new ones everyday. Right now I'm wondering about Danger Mouse's car and whether it'd be best to scratch build it or base it on a 1/10 body

We didn't set an official end-time for the poll - shall we give it until Mon 17th Nov? That gives everyone 2 weeks to come up with ideas and get things ordered before the build period starts.

I'm now happy with film or zombie apocalypse - I can do either with what I have to hand or I can splash out and do something else, if I'm feeling flush.

I'd prefer zombie/armored, cause most of my movie/tv ideas are kinda paint only. And one that's way to much time and money for a buildoff

There's still plenty of scope for going further than paint for a movie/tv car - for example there's more to a good A-Team van than painting a lunchbox. You could make the spoiler, the bullbars, the roof lights, a custom grill, customised M01 chassis... (I hope I haven't spoiled anyone's top secret idea there).

I don't disagree. But a zombie/armored theme is something I'd actually build anyway. There's only one tv/movie idea I have that I really want to build

Any last votes out there? It looking like on screen vehicles might be the theme, I am still trying to think of unique builds for that, but it will come to me.

I recon you could stretch "on screen" to include consul & PC games. That should open up the possibilities!

I don't see why we couldn't include game vehicles in onscreen... It's really down to the builder's interpretation

That is the great thing about the wording of the theme - so many things appear on screens these days, including games, youtube videos, even CCTV footage if you want an excuse to build a replica of your fullsize car. 'Tis all in the interpretation!
