Very impressive build Sir . Great choice of hop ups and scale items too . When will we see it getting down and dirty ?

Thank you bromvw...I hope to very soon. The only time I usually have a chance to run my cars is on the weekends, and lately I've had to work every weekend. :(

And on to the body...

Gun metal paint, by popular demand :)

I like what you're doing with that Unimog! And I must say I'm not that much into hopups myself ;) Excellent work.

Also, your cars on the wall behind, they look awesome, too. :)

Thank you x2 Mongoose! I really appreciate the kind words. After nearly 30 years away from the hobby, I've come back with a vengeance :D

A few more parts arrived today for this build and for my next.

I had ordered this TFU-01 esc cooling fan nearly a month ago and it finally arrived today. It's a great little kit, comes with whatever necessary bracketry to fit a wide array of Tamiya esc's. It's compact and not too tall, so it won't interfere with any body parts.

As packaged:

All wired up:

I also picked up another pair of RC4wd's Mudslingers and Militant alloy wheels. Using the original wheel as a spare tire, and it's tire being wider with a different tread pattern, it seemed out of place.

Here you can see my 5th wheel assembly mounted:

Looks much better now!

Sucks to have to spend all that money just for the spare, but boy does it look good that way

You are 100% correct, and thank you for originally suggesting it!

Are you using wheel weights and foams - seems to lack traction on the front end ? loves its appearance though

Thanks! Foam but no wheel weights. I haven't gotten around to it yet. Disassembling those wheels is a task in itself lol.

Looks fantastic - can't believe I overlooked this thread before now! Lovely build sir.

I wouldn't want to add up what a build like that would cost though!
