Waterproof electrics, what do I need?

Hey chaps,

I'm currently restoring a Mudblaster and am in need of the electrics. I intend to get this thing filthy so I'll be needing waterproof everything.

What I'm asking for is recommendations for the esc and servo, I'm not looking to spend a crazy amount but I'm not really 100% sure what is best for bashing about with. I am thinking a balloon will be fine for the receiver as I have a Flysky handset ready to go.

Any help is very much appreciated.

A Hobbywing Quickrun 1060 would do great as a ESC, is cheap, waterproof and does 60A.

Maybe someone else can help you with a waterproof steering servo, i don't have any experience with those.

I will second the Hobbywing Quicrun 1060, excellent no fuss and cheap esc, servo wise the obvious choice would be a traxxas unit like fitted to most of there ready to run Rc's, but ive had a look around as you don't need anything too heavy duty.

unless your planning on running under water, im not sure i would bother with waterproof, maybe smear a little grease round the joints etc, ive never managed to kill one yet in the wet.

other waterproof options are from hobbyking, ive used there servo's for years and there good value.

Thanks chaps, should have mentioned before but I'll be using a sport tuned, will that esc be ok with that?

I've placed the order, after reading the details on the esc it should be fine for the sport tuned. Thanks for the advice chaps.
