I'm tired of the fin breaking off my Hornet and I need a new body anyway. GH bodies that are painted look pretty slick and can be had for about $25 USD on eBay? Any major tricks to getting these on a Hornet?

You will also need to make a small notch on each side to allow for the rear suspension. Not difficult, can be done in 5 mins

Only issue I had was with the mounting screws for the rear suspension. The Grasshopper body had notches to allow clearance of the screw heads. With the extra parts for the Hornet rear end, you have 2 more screws back there that do not have notches for them. A little light filing was all I had to do to get things to work.

I seem to remember the original hop-up manual having a picture of having to enlarge the hole for the motor since you would be moving it with the new suspension mount but I never did it back in the day or when I decided to rebuild my vintage one a few years ago.

Thanks. Looks easy enough. Gonna grab one and some green paint! I love the Hornet look and the colors but have mowed through the bodies over the years.
