Agreed, am i missing something but it doesnt really show exactly what you get?

Also, "If the price seems unreasonable to you this collection is not for you." seems harsh when he's not bothered to list it all

And "Call if serious.", i dont get wound up often but I would say "List more details and show more photos if serious in selling"

Odd

This type of ad really annoys me. It's like when people list a high value item on eBay like a car or motorbike and ask several thousands of pounds but only put one pic and then say contact them for more pics. No, if you want to try and sell this to me you need to put the effort in and put as much detail as poss in the way of pics and description. Pure arrogance in my view.

Smacks of someone in desperate need of money and needs quick sale or someone trying it on, for all we know all you get is pictured which in my eyes is worth about £2-3k tops

Let me get this straight... so the guy is asking $25,000 but won't even go into details?

If the pictures he posted are the best of his collection, I'll pass.

If I was asking $25k, Id be posting pics of the most rare RC's in my collection along with an itemized list of the other cars.

I fully expect to be able to purchase this fine collection in about 25 years' time and part it out for maybe 2% of that total :P

Anyways... it will be interesting to see how this works out. It is very rare that anybody asks $25k, let alone $35k for their RC cars. To me, the deal-breaker has to be a lack of a listed Striker!

Must pick up... Will not ship... OK, fine. Throw in airfare to get out there, and a brand-new F-150 to haul it all home in, and it wouldn't be TOO bad of a deal...

Extortionate.

Also, isn't it against eBay rules not to fully disclose EXACTLY what is for sale, not just 'some' of it? No doubt there are some very interesting / valuable articles there but that's a really poor way of trying to sell it. You'd have to be either very brave or very stupid...

I'm wondering if this is a somewhat disgruntled ex getting rid of her divorce settlement in one lump? Or selling off his in doors collection for him maybe?

The seller has over 600+ive feed back, so he is no 1st time seller. It seems he is asking for what he paid over the years and don't see it as whole sale deal or fire sale.

I think he knows he will not get $25 or $35k but he will likely deal if someone does contact him and the final price could be below $10K, which is still a lot of money.

Serious collector likely has most of the models and is only interested in one particular and no first time hobbiest would drop or has several grand to spend.

We will all have to eat our words if the collection does sell per his asking price, but will be like winning the power ball jackpot lottery. We should be very safe.

Well, he may have gotten the offer he was after, because the auction was ended early.

7 Re-re bruisers and 8 Re-re super champs NIB seems a bit much for someone to collect.

5 original Super Champs; I'd like one of those.

27 Super Champs in all.

If you count all the kits and he really is on the level, $25k may not be to far from a reasonable price after all. I haven't done the maths, but he does have some high-value items.

Probably sold to someone who did the maths, gave an offer on that basis and is ready to start reselling on eBay.

Most of the feedback here was based on his first advert which showed few photos and no details but with a price of 25k, thats where most of the negative comments came from.

His ebay advert wasnt great but at least he listed the items! :)
