europro975 75 Posted November 26, 2014 No, Tamiya or Tamiya logo anywhere.
mongoose1983 3335 Posted November 27, 2014 No, Tamiya or Tamiya logo anywhere. Sorry to disappoint then, I'm afraid that is not a Tamiya produced chassis. I have the original car here and the chassis has Tamiya, model name, and Made in Japan in it. But it still is very interesting to get to see such a rare item. It's the first time I have ever seen something like it!
tilstad1 33 Posted December 2, 2014 Did this chassis come with any other parts? I wonder how well a body fits on it, that could be a clue to it being aftermarket or not. Personally I would guess an early version, since the missing ribbing could indicate a preproduction version, before strengthening ribs were added. Good find though.
