Maybe you should get an estimate from your engineer first, for say 10 offs, so people will now how much approx it is going to cost them.

Or even if it is possible to make the parts for a reasonable price.

Since I have a minilathe, and are making small parts myself, I can understand more and more some of the prices for one offs and small series that arent just round axles.

for example the TF J-parts, those might be realistic to, but you would need an 3D printer to get a good price I dont think milling those out of solid plastic will be cheap compared to that.

btw ball diff for wild dagger, a diff locker to place in the rear diff would be more practical.

I would also love to see wheels for the Audi Quattro-Opel Ascona/Willy's Wheeler available again, even if they are not easily mounted to most cars.

For that matter, I think what I would really want is a set of those turbine-style wheels in a size suitable for 1:10 touring cars, preferably compatible with hex adaptors but bearings in the front wheels would also be nice! A lot like the wheels on this Quattro:

Edit: ... or not

how about a df01-ta01 frp kit ,if you made it ready to install that would be sweet along with a ta02 setup and also shock towers for the ta/df cars would be mint. I tink if you had a complete kit to copy it would be easy to do

Hello!

I`m desperatly searching for a King Cab differential quite a while.

I have 3 King Cabs (one is for my shelf) and 3 broken, slippery differentials....

I´ve tryed to fix them, but i think they are broken.

So i would love to have 2 new working differentials for my Nissan King Cabs.

I live in austria, so the shipping would not be an issue.

Peace, whahooo!

And you are not interested in the A1 part?

For this type of chassis you can ask to Fiberlyte in UK, they already did it.

I hate to throw a spanner (or box wrench) in the works but would Tamiya see this as copying and distribution of their copy write parts? That's a big no no as far as TC is concerned.

Posted

Your A parts are ok because the diff slip, when you will have a firm diff the A part will break, believe me.

Max

Thanks for the hint, but it seems that my A parts are OK.

No, we are speaking about parts that don't exist and they are not copies of Tamiya parts. These are home made parts.

Try to think these parts like other "3th parts" of other brands like 3Racing, Yeah Racing, Thorp and so on but home made and in a very limited numbers. If not, every modification I did on my models would be forbidden. Could this be possible?

If the screw holding the shaft from the other side is properly tightened, A1 rarely breaks. Believe me. ;-)

No, I'm sorry. I broke many of them expecially on the King Cab that uses 74T spur gear and smaller pinion gear. I used 14T pinion gear, the torque broken the A part several times, didn't matter how the screw was tightened.

The motor was a Stock Dyna Run, 23 turns, nothing so fast.

Let's just agree that we have totally different opinions and experiences with this. :-)
