Which buggy?

Hi Team

I'm about to buy a buggy and I'd thought I would get a little advice before I hit the buy now.

After doing my home work I'm pretty sure that the Neo fighter DT03 is a great little car. Ive read some really good reviews and seen a few build threads plus its a great price! Also is pretty easy to upgrade.

Ive already got new brushless motor and esc and will be buying bearings at the same time.

Are there any other cars I should considering?

I keep looking at the price of the Neo Fighter, just over £50 in some places, and wondering the same thing..

Hi the DT-03 is a great 2WD buggy for the money compared to the DT-02. If you can find one with bonus parts (oil shocks and torque tuned motor) you can't go wrong in my opinion. Hop up parts are easily available and cheap from HK. They are also fun to drive.

great buggy and with the range of hop up parts available they can be made very capable . You can almost build a full spec TRF version step by step with a few well chosen parts .

With its price/performance ratio, it is hard to justify buying any other 2WD Tamiya buggy these days.

Blitzers are excellent fun . Bullet proof gearbox that can easily withstand brushless power only needing touring car hard cups to be a very reliable unit . Known issues - bumpsteer , Easy to fix by flipping the steering arms over side to side . Adding adjustable links so you can dial in the camber also helps a lot . Tires are rubbish IMO . They will be torn out in no time at all . Best replacement i have found is Proline Dirt Dawgs , Get one lol
