Not to be negative (well, I try anyway) :) But the Neo Falcon body/shell is arguably one of the fugliest ever made. I bought one vs. a Sand Viper because it was a better deal, I really should have spent the extra for the Sand Viper.

IMO one of the nicest bodies to fit on a DT02 chassis is the Rough Rider.

Thats a cheap Kamtec Lexan Rough Rider shell on what was a Violet Racer DT02. It used the standard body mounts that come in all the DT02 kits. It's fits the tub so well it also works like a dust cover to keep most of the debris out!

I assume that a Tamiya lexan RR body would fit just as well or even the hard body. Best of all you get those classics old skool looks with modern performance and upgradability.

Arron I have one of those rough rider bodies you can have for the cost of postage if you like, I did start chopping it like Nic's but changed direction and fitted a hammers cage instead. PM me if you're interested.

If he is not interested I would be. Love that classic look and I might be able to get a Willy in there.

I think the lexy Sand Viper bodies are about the cheapest on eBay at the moment. I am guessing on a racer the key is to keep the weight down as much as possible.

i actually fancy a Holiday Buggy and hopping it up stage by stage .

I think that body stops the use of the carbon spacers for the shocks that the racers run. I am sure a minute or two with a dremel would sort that out though.

If you mean this then it fits on the lower mount holes and you can fit the Holiday Buggy body over it:

I was talking about the extenders that push the shocks more upright. I have been looking at them front and rear but not sure if they are just bling or if they are worth buying.
