Low rider VW Type 2

Hi everyone, I'm trying to find a suitable chassis to make a low rider VW Type 2 and base the colour scheme on a friends real type 2. I've seen a fellow member has used a Carisma M14 chassis which seems to fit perfect. I would like to use a different chassis if possible and have seen this from ABC Hobby,

It needs to be shortened by around 10 mm which I can't see it being a problem.

Depends what body your using . I have seen the MO5 used but with the Maisto body .

If its the Tamiya one then finding a suitable chassis will be hard due to its small size .

finding one is't hard . Finding one for under £80 quid is like looking for unicorn droppings .

Ha ha, yeah I did mean that actually. Someone got theirs from TK Max relatively cheap but they'd gone when I enquired.

I saw a Maisto van in Hawkins Bazaar recently in Woking, but it was silly money, £80 HALF PRICE!!! First time I've seen one in the shops since I found one in Croydon TK Maxx about 2-3 years ago for £30!

Maisto VW body fits perfectly on the M04 wheelbase.

Great combo if you can find them.

thats the one . looks quite good on that cc-01 IMO . The arch extenders give it a tough look
