Anyone found anything as a genuine alternative to the

Tamiya spur gear for the diff of the F101 & GrpCs?

(Does the F102 & F103 gear fit?)

Or better still, something with 48dp teeth?? [:)]

Dont know about the grp C spurs but the F101/102/103 spurs are, for all practical purposes the same and therefore interchangeable.

also can't say if a 48 pitch spur is available to fit.

Cheers Paul.

The spur gears from later F102 and F103 chassis will fit. Cross also made replacements. Here in the UK RW Racing supply 48dp (70-78t) spurs for the F1s but they have to be a special order. If you can't find a suitable spur you need to find a gear manufacturer that can supply a 48dp spur between 70-78 teeth with a 12mm hole.

Thanks chaps, I'll have to go search the shops. [:)]

Yes I thought I saw some Cross & Robinson bags for F103... but didn't

think they had the little 'cup' that held the 1280 bearing like the

Tamiya one does. But in essence I guess it isn't really necessary

to have the gear cup the bearing anyway.
