Versatile ESC

Hi All,

I'm looking for an ESC that I can use in all my cars, SR, SS, WW and Dyna Storm. The problem is that the Dyna Storm has a 13 Turn motor.

Does anyone know of an ESC that will work well with the 13 turn motor and the others - but doesn't cost too, too much (under $100?)

Also, I do want reverse.

I just bought a Carson (Mtronics) 11T ESC for my new Dyna Storm (which has btw 14T) for only 35EUR [:0][8D] here in Germany, even in other countries it should be significantly under $100.

Does that have reverse DJTheo? When I tried to find an Mtroniks that would run low turn motors they were all forward only?! Lowest I could get with both F and R was the sport RV which is 15 turn limit.

The Futaba MC330R is forward and reverse, and goes down to 13 turn. Costing about $50-$60 I think, depending on where from

I just got the Msonic 4 RV11 (11 turn limit) for exactly the same reason, fwd rev & brake with easy setup. Oh and WATERPROOF! (4th one down) Its a bit more than $100 but worth it in my opinion (should be arround $110 stateside).

Mine is only brake, but you can get the same with reverse for something like 50EUR, there exist all types to no limit with reverse.

Ive used a Futaba MC330 with a DynaRun Super Touring motor (13x2 turns) in a King Cab, TA04 and a Dynastorm with no problems.

The cars were "safe-geared" with pinions of a low teeth count--made to accelerate quickly instead of high top-end speed, though.

Yet again my £45 PSung RC-Line No Limit did me proud at Snet. Ran in all weathers (including pouring rain) and didn't miss a beat until water got inside and it forgot it had a brake and a reverse. [] Still, dried it out on the radiator and it's good as new. []

Bargain at £45 - it's hacked an 11x2 in the KBF and a Tamiya Super Modified in my TT-01 without breaking sweat.
