When I joined I paid a £15 subscription where can I find my Tamiya Club member ID? I notice some of the traders such as Fusion offer discounts.

You only usually need your name on TC in your case Avante2001R or they may as ask for your member number, that is at the top right on your home page on TC when you are logged in.

Fusion in particular give 10% discount that's most useful as it results in some very competitive pricing and they provide excellent service, never had any problems with the many kits and parts I have bought., and no don't work for them in case anyone asks !

Ah yes I see it thanks for that guys much appreciated!

I noticed their prices are good example I went to one UK place for some Tamiya PS paint and they wanted £11 plus postage would come to £15.

Would be great if they had a full range of parts like Tamico or Seidel do, something that I have not found in the UK, even back in the day they had to be specially ordered, not many people held stocks.

Beaties were good from my memory I used to walk in and be able to buy a lot of stuff, some would have to be ordered, but they have since disappeared. With all the Tamiya fans and dedicated collectors we have here in UK you would think there would be a fair few dedicated Tamiya stockists who would be able to provide the parts that people in other parts of the world can.

I was the rc and train specialist at beaties in Aberdeen for two years in 1996.. it was hard work getting in parts in from supplies but we tried to carry most stock... thanks for saying beaties were good, as a chain of shops we really did try.

I wish i still worked in a modelshop... i loved it!

Beatties where good places to hang out while mum was shopping.Saved all my pocket money and paper round money to buy the original ultima (sorry!) I saw in the window.They had sold out when I went to buy it!!

Ended up getting it from Otley modelsport.
