That looks much better with colour-matched CVAs all round. Should handle a lot better too!

If you wanted to, you may be able to get the stance more level by using short shock ends on the rear shocks and/or extra-long ones on the front, although it doesn't look bad with the rear a bit higher than the front.

I have been looking around for details of damper shafts. The kits come with everything to upgrade bar the shafts. I was wondering about different lengths I could mix to get the height where I wanted it.

What spares kit do I need to get extra long rod ends?

I have a set of red wheels, would they look ok?

I do not want to open the packet to try, I over ordered sets so need to bung some on EBay to get shot

i think red wheels could look good and tie in with the red chassis quite well . All depends on what colour and decals your going to use on the body as that will make or break the overall look IMO .

Just read the whole thread, loving your work dude! I especially like the wide stance which should help with the handling although the tyre spikes may not?

Looking forward to seeing what you do with the body!

I wish I could remember. I have some fitted to a couple of my models, but they were in my bits box for a while before fitting, and I'm afraid I cannot recall from whence they came.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Well I think this one has run it course. I took it out and it just wanted to filp over backwards even on the lightest throttle.

The shock mounts on the DT-01 rear end are just too high to get any real travel and mounting a wheely bar would take some real engineering.

Added to the fact my sons DT-01 has a split in the shock mount I think I will reduce this back to a pile of parts and go to plan B
