NEW Porsche 911GT2 Club Sport TA02SW

Recommended Posts

LOL no one said it would be easy!

Oooh I know-- get the 34mm wide HPI Porsche wheel/tire combo that has 14mm offset. 168+14+14=196mm. :D

lol!

anyway, good luck filling in the body holes.. :D -

A FF03/04 chassis ... and turn it around.. might be a good choice... I am actually working on that :D

The FF03 have different Wheelbase settings.

Great build!

I need to order one of these, I already have a GT2 Taisan and a GT2 PIAA in Martini livery:

Wow! Absolutely beautiful. I was planning a Martini livery, but in black. Great job!

Almost there! Thinking of hiding the front pole... I did mask the front grill and it's going to be awesome lol!

The mufflers are a really nice touch. How did you go about mounting them?

Gorgeous, would love to have that in my collection. Still no idea where the decals are from, or is it painted?

Thanks all for the nice comments!

I bought the shell like this years ago, so I can't take any credit for it, apart from adding the shutlines.

I really don't know where the decals are from. The only thing painted are the red and obviously the white portions.

Ahh, makes sense, when the red is also painted, then it should be possible to find usable decals. Thanks for the info.

Who could have imagined just a short while ago that, basically, a NIB Taisan Porsche would be widely available for £67 + shipping?

God bless Mr Tamiya, the Willy Wonka of RC. :P

Where do you guys see it at 105$ on Stellas? Can't seem to find it.

It's not on there yet. They just sent an email out to those who pre-ordered the kit with them.

Just had a look, the Martini decals used have to be from an Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti Martini. Which also has just been re-released!
