neverfollow 599 Posted August 2, 2015 For those interested in a rear stabilizer bar, the OP-189 can be used. It isn't designed for the SW chassis because the bar itself is too short. But, I was able to use the stabilizer bar from OP-676 for a TA04 and it looks like it will work. I chose the softest bar for now until I start running it.

Did you use original Tamiya decals or the fineline-art versions? Taisantobi's Porsche is stunning. You've done a fantastic job. It's gorgeous. Agree. Although I have no doubt we will see some great alternative schemes over the coming weeks and months, for me you just cannot beat the Taisan livery. It just works so well on this car. zadsniktaw 23 Posted August 4, 2015 Getting there. Have masked up head, indicator and tail lights and not decaled as I haven't decided if I'll add lights yet. Wing is drying. Custom stickers not yet printed so, not applied yet [emoji4] Very pleased with side stripes.
vtecboost 17 Posted August 4, 2015 I'd like to see Tamiya bring back some of their 1/8th scale TGX Mk1's...but with brushless power! Neverfollow That is genius, wow I truly hope that someone at Tamiya Headquarters is reading this. I personally owned the Nissan R390 TGX with a Raybrig NSX body shell. Tamiya if you are reading this please make this particular suggestion a reality bring out a brushless powered TGX 1/8 Chassis and bring back the 1/8 Body shells.

redzone 212 Posted August 5, 2015 10.5 is a good speed for one of these, should be similar speed to an old 19 turn race brushed motor. Great tip on those cc01 unis!!!
redzone 212 Posted August 5, 2015 Mine just turned up to btw. Super stoked to find the body holes pre punched! I already have a rere body with no holes, with the punched one I can rebody my original car without having hand cut holes. I still have most of my original sticker set as I built my original in 1996 as a street version.
neverfollow 599 Posted August 5, 2015 Good to know about the CC01 axles. The ones I got from Yeah Racing are too long.
chickenman242tk 266 Posted August 5, 2015 I jagged a mint set of used orignal cvds for the front. The gpm unis are a good bit too
zadsniktaw 23 Posted August 5, 2015 Not happy with extra stickers. Quality is poor so ordered new paper. Also, I'm not sure they add anything so may go street instead. Thoughts? Decided to fill screw holes in wing so not finished yet.
